Clevedon Salerooms recent Specialist Sale ruffled a
few feathers as bidders from the UK and abroad flocked to bid on the Cartier
Ruby and diamond brooch in the shape of a Duck.
Exceptional items continue to command exceptional prices and finest
lots in each category proved the point.
The Chinese buyers where present, an on-line bidder from Hong Kong
securing the table above. The
George Cross awarded to a Miner in 1931 for bravery in rescuing colleagues was
fiercely contested going to a private collector.

METHODS OF PAYMENT
– Payment can be made in cash as well as face-to-face credit or debit card
payment. Please note that we do not accept remote card payments.
Payments by credit card are subject to a charge of 2%. In addition we accept
payment by bank transfer and by cheque (all cheques must be cleared before
removal of goods and this may take up to 8 working days).
